Featured Artist - Attak Of The Strawberries
Attack of the Strawberries is a classy and funky all-girl cover band, who add their unique flavour to current hits from Adele and Lady Gaga, right through to the soul sounds of the late Amy Winehouse. The band consists of four talented ladies who are formally trained musicians with years of performing experience between them.
Attack of the Strawberries is the perfect choice to provide that sizzling vibe to any corporate event, cocktail party, birthday party, wedding or a night in “da-house”! With performances at venues like Tanz Café, Café Barcelona, Jet, Rumours Lounge, Carnival City and Firkin Centurion, these girls are no strangers to the stage!

Charlie Vallow ("Charlie" Lead vocals): Charlie is an established solo jazz vocalist and performs regularly at venues all around Gauteng. The band's import from Austria with her unique outgoing, bubbly personality adds a sweet "strawberry" flavour to current hit songs performed by the Strawberries.
KellyKelly Grevler (Guitarist): Kelly received a higher diploma in guitar and performance from the Campus of Performing Arts and is currently completing a BA Honors Degree in Music Business. Kelly is also a formally trained vocalist.
Aleda Smit-Denner ("Lee" - Bass, Guitar) : With formal musical studies in piano, Lee has added the guitar and bass to her music-portfolio. With performances with the local music group, "Little Sister", she is no stranger to the stage.
Marwileen van Zyl ("Marze" - Drums, Guitar, Keys) : Probably one of the most talented all round musicians you will ever find! Blessed with perfect pitch and still busy with musical studies at TUT, Marze is an all round musician and basically plays anything from drums, guitar, piano to violin.

Recordings of live performances of “Rolling in the deep” (Adele), “Animal Instinct “( The Cranberries) and “Bad Romance” (Lady Gaga) is available on YouTube, which is easily accessible from their website: www.attackofthestrawerreis.co.za. A DVD and demo CD is available for the public on request.
